“Memories & Dreams”
Mixed media with oil marbling, charcoal
and gesso
My work conjures up reminders of
memories and dreams. I have tried to suggest fragments of reality within a
dreamscape. The hints of nature in what is a representation of universal space
anchor the viewer so they can explore this other world. Each colour is symbolic
of emotions within the serendipitous composition while the natural objects
stand for essential forms in Nature, our original home; a place where we can
feel relaxed. It is a reminder of a meditative state of mind.
