“Words in Water”
Photography and stitching

Image One:             As I lay back in the water I am contemplating my existence, the words said about me rush through my mind. Fat, Ugly, Fake, Used.  My eyes are stitched closed, my lips sealed and my ears submerged, I refuse to accept the criticisim and negativity.  All words I hold back my words trying not to speak. When people stare at me all they see is a fony someone worthless. It was my childhood that built me to where I am the torn pieces of memories have slowly been sewn back together over my life. My existence is insignificant. I am longing for the freedom to speak my mind. The scarlet red of my soul and hope is so minuscule it almost isn’t there but a slight glimmer has begun to form.
