Kristen-Lee Rechena
Intertwine of flesh and machine; it has become a common aspect of society. The concept relates to the commonly present idea of rehabilitation, of the mind and the body. Rehabilitation is the context of restoring the old non-functioning with the new. Restoring through the idea of rehabilitation allows the folio to explore the depth of restoring the human body by intertwining the natural flesh with the manmade machine. The concept juxtaposes the purpose of diversity between machine and flesh whilst complementing one another by delivering the same function that was restored.
