“Inner Beauty”
Digital Photography

In my work titled Inner Beauty I have produced a number of works which display different art techniques with their own meaning to inner beauty. My first artwork is a series of small water coloured and ink circles, each with a transparent photo of a person’s eye placed over top. This artwork represents beauty within and how “everyone sees beauty differently” as each circle represents a cell, of which people are made of.
I have produced three series of artworks, all of which relate back to the concept of inner beauty. In the A3 photograph I have displayed a series of fragmented photographs depicting how beauty can be distorted by the media. In my final series featuring transparencies with coloured photographs of myself, I have tried to display how beauty is not transparent and that one must look beyond the surface to find real beauty.
