“The Look”

My work was exploring the concept of
self-image, and the way in which everyday we are bombarded with the faces of
‘beautiful’ and ‘perfect’ people, and the social expectations on us to
replicate this look. This phenomenon is exacerbated by the easy access we have
to this media and influence through out iPhone, or other smart phones, and
other social media resources. The significance of these resources are
represented through the iPhone case motif throughout my artwork.
