My artwork focuses on how street art is a reaction on
previous traditional/classic artworks like the Mona Lisa or The Scream but is
not accepted or regarded as an art form. This highly influential style of art
is more and more common in our society and should be classified under the art
umbrella. The two adaptations in my work of Shepard Fairey’s pieces mix the
traditional with the contemporary, leading one to question what is art?
